We have run into a couple of set backs with the website construction process. I have had so many problems with the server, and trying to make the Joomla CMS system work. That I have to abandon the current plan of using this set-up.
I have found a better solution that will actually provide us with a much more interactive Website. It will provide us with many more features that I had not even considered.
Each member will now be able to have there own custom landing page to recruit new members. They will have unique Audio and Video Post cards that they will be able to use to market there products. The members will have there own blog and will be able to upload Video. They will be able to create a Contact profile to promote there other businesses. We will be able to create an online store that each member will be able to promote, and earn additional Commissions.
There are some other features that will provide the members with a Awesome Social Network, that will provide a way to interact with other members to form Jv partnerships. There will be a Chat system, and The mentors will be able to show their online status from the main page, So Visitors will be able to ask questions, before joining.
We will be able to incorporate a Two Tier Affiliate Program, if we want to add this feature.
This will give us a much better Website set up than I had originally planned.
Now the Bad news, Because of the fact I have been spinning my wheels for that last month and have not been able to update the Forum, and the Blog. There has not been any traffic sent to the Forum and as a result we have not had any new members join the Core for a few weeks. This is putting the goal of a May 1st Pre-Launch in jeopardy.
So I am going to concentrate on driving some traffic and open up the Underground to the public so they can see what we are really trying to provide as a way to encourage more people to join. The Blueprint is not even ready to install on the new site, we have an enormous amount of content to produce. It can not be ready unless we have some help.
Thank God for Dena, she has been keeping the Forum going, by providing Content for the Website. Her work is outstanding, and she needs the others to pitch in an give her a hand.
With Kevin forced to take a leave of absence, we need someone to take his place as Content Coordinator, I am hoping Ken will take up this position as he was going to be Editing Content anyway.
I am going to get with Adam and set up an Auto responder and try to get some leads to start building a list of prospects.
It will be probably two weeks before the New Website is ready for content placement. This gives us time to create it and get it finalized for the site.
When Kevin and I decided to scarp the present server, and go with the iGROOPs format, I considered dropping the Hosting package and website templates. As it was going to require the use of two Websites and two separate API systems to be intra grated into the main site . This would take a long time to produce,and the May 1st Deadline would not happen. But as it seems now that deadline will not be reached anyway.
So I will be changing servers, and the Hosting will be in place for Pre-Launch. It is such an important part of this Project we just can't do without it. Although we will not be able to offer Reseller hosting to members, at Pre-launch. I will incorporate a separate Affiliate Program into the Hosting, so members will be able to offer Hosting as a Product. They will just not be able to sell hosting and receive 100% of the profit as I had intended. After Launch I will work on changing it over so they can.
We need to get the Content going, in the next couple of Days I will be taking down the the present site at www.aproject4freedom.com and moving the Domain to the iGroops format.
I am gong to create a new domain for the Hosting service, with WHMCS API, and an Affiliate Progarm. The iGROOPs has the Affiliate Program pre installed. The Newsletter and Auto Responders are also pre-installed. So we need the complete Blueprint completed as soon as possible. The Products that we will offer for download will be placed on the iGROOPs site. We will incorporate a e commerce section for the members to resell some of those products.
Thats pretty much where we stand as of now, I will be updating more frequently as we get closer to Pre-Launch.
