I have found a Mega download site with like 1200 down loads of e-books, and other stuff that may be useful. I am skeptical of these sites, your never now if they are bogus. But if it is not, and you are able to down load what they claim. We would have a pretty intense library of products. Something like this would be perfect, like I said if it's legit, as most of these products come with a customizable sales page. We will have the Hosting in place,so members would have a multitude of products to market. It would give us allot of value, right from the beginning.  Here is the link.....

(Link Removed) This site is Bogus! Ken tried to purchase and never got the download link.

We would have to Host the files, on a separate sever, as there is like 7 gigs of products, and we would link Docman, our download manager to them. We could run a different series of Tutorials, like each month feature something, different and supply the products along with that  monthly series. This way it would keep the site fresh, with a different opportunity each month.
It also would relieve the pressure of trying to have  every single subject covered at Launch time. We cover the basic, list building, traffic generation, and ebook creation and run a focused tutorial series each month. Then we would archive that series, so members that join after one was run could gain access. This method also helps with retention of members, as there is something to look forward to ever month. opposed to joining for 1 month downloading our entire catalog and leaving.  We could limit archive access, like they would be able to have access to the last ten series. If they want to go back further we would charge them a fee, or they would have to wait until we make it available again.

This also gives us a chance, once a series is completed, it could be a bundled as stand alone product.  Offering a tutorial series complete with a business opportunity. This could be a very powerful marketing strategy. You could break it down as a newsletter lesson, to help build a list. The options are only limited by your imagination. I think something like this has allot of potential. That of course is if these type of site's are legit.

Neal

I went and took a look at this site and I have to agree with your evaluation of it. I think we will have to probably weed out a few of the titles as I recognize some old standbys. Of course with our focus being on newbies this may not be a bad thing.

Anyways, I think it is a good deal and you are right about it relieving some of the pressure off the launch prep.

I have been doing a little research on a way to set up a Repository for this many files.
I have run across something, that may work, if I understand it correctly. There is a program called  Xamp,  it is available free at  www.apachefriends.org  It seems to be a program that will set up a web server on your Hard Drive. Which I find very interesting. I stumbled upon this as I was researching to solve the issues I am having with our server. At the Joomla site they have a PDF tutorial on how to install the ver 1.5, and they use Xamp on a windows based computer. I was then looking for some generic video Tutorials we could use on the site, for our members. I came across another tutorial, that shows you how to set up Xamp on your computer, so you can install Joomla 1.5.

          http://blip.tv/file/648353?utm_source=aolvideo&utm_medium=aolvideo

This Video is setting up Xamp on a new VPS or Virtual Private Server, basically a Dedicated, split into a couple of sections.

So what do you think could this work for a extremely large file Repository?

Hello All
I looked at these and (if theyre any good) there could be some
useful stuff there. Some could br flat out re-sells, some give aways
as incentives for a lead capture page etc or things like the website
software (graphics, pop up creator etc) as either free downloads
or items for sale.
The ones that could be used as responder or news letter series
would be very helpful.
IncomeCreationsTraffic will cover the cost & donate them
if it's something we want to do.

Quickly,
I've just seen this. Take a look, maybe you've seen it before.
It's subscription but the higher upgrades only include guaranteed hits.

I just took a quick look at the websites Neal and Ken found.  Tons of very interesting stuff.  I love the idea of not offering too much at once.
I think it will keep people excited knowing they will always have something new to look forward to on a monthly basis.  This gives new people time to work with a few things and really understand the products they choose to work with, instead of being tempted to grab too much stuff at once and getting lost in it all - getting overwhelmed and loosing intrest all together.

I have several PLR products that I use and have found to be really great tools that I can upload (all of them can be given away, so there won't be any problems regarding that). Just give me a couple of days to organize them all and I'll upload them at once and post a list of them here.

Thanks Naya  for the offer and that would be great. You can wait to upload them, I will get the site configured this weekend and you can just put them there when you are ready. Instead of using the temp file storage as that is not secure. We have file sharing on the iGROOPs site.

We are going to use PTI for our product source, as it has 10,000 e-books, Videos and PLR products. here is the link

http://murphymarketing.ptipower.com/  there is a fee of $7.95 but the cool thing is it also places you into a 2 up style downline builder which after you make your qualifying sales willl receive $5 from each sign up. We are thinking of automatically signing up new members when the join to provide them with there starting products and and additional income stream right from the beginning.

We do need to have some "Freebies" to have though, so we can use for Auto Responder script, give aways and other things. So if you have something laying around the old hard drive sure we can use it for sure. Thanks for the offer.
