There are many sites that will pay you to sign up for free offers, trial accounts etc,
And they pay.
But what do you pay in return. This needs to be the overriding question you must ask yourself.
How do they work?
As an example you may be paid $7.00 to sign up for a $24.00 per month website hosting account.
You get a 30 day "free" trial and if you don't like it you can cancel and get the 7 bills anyway.

The confusion with these sites is just that, confusion.

First, you must give up your credit card information and agree to the vendors terms
($24.00 per month) to get your $7.00. Remember you may cancel at any time.

So! There are more offers of the same nature paying various amounts and you can
rack up $150 in sign up bonuses very quickly.
And then there are other sites! You cannot sign up for the same offer more than once
but there are many others to choose from. A $1.97 shipping charge for a $10.00
bonus sounds great.

I'd like to reiterate that these sites do pay, at least the legitimate ones do.

But where does that leave you?

Let's see, what do you have to cancel, by when and how?
You've signed an agreement with every offer to auto-bill your credit card.
You could very easily have 10 -30 memberships to try and cancel!
Miss a $97.00 per month one (not uncommon) and it will make your "profits"
disappear quickly

A profit can be made, but you have to be extremely organised in order to do it.
Many trial memberships need to be cancelled by phone.
Plan on spending a lot of time with customer service.

Though it is by no means a scam, it can certainly bite you if you're not careful.
