Membership Hosting Package

This will be the Hosting Package that will be included in the membership.

Domain Name Warning!
We are unable to provide Free Domain names, this is out of my control, as we will be using Enom as our in house provider. If you already own a Domain name it can be transfered,maybe for free. The current price is around $14.00 for 1 year. Caution if you find a cheaper provider and especially if that provider is also a Hosting company. You might find that when you attempt to transfer this domain it will be non-transferable. So make sure you are able too, if you consider this option.

You will be able to virtually have the ability to have unlimited websites/ and sub domains. The only cost will be a new unique Domain Name, so if you need one you will get your hosting for about $14.00 per year. Pretty good deal I think considering all the things we will be trowing in on top of this. This could be modified if someone has specific requirements, Let me know. I also intend to Transfer to a Dedicated Server, when the provider gets them and our membership base gets growing. I don't want us to be on Shared long. Right now shared is fine but I hope we grow out of it fast.

Just In case your not paying attention! This is not talking about becoming a member to this Forum! This is what we will provide when the membership site at www.aproject4freedom.com goes live. This Forum is just for the construction of that site.

Neal, Is this fully up and running ? Can it be used yet or should we wait on that a couple of days? I do like the sound of the package but I am just curious as to how easy it is for a non techie . I am sure it is because none of us are techies, it is just that I have this natural curiosity about new "toys" so to speak.
The other reason I ask is because I have been and will be talking up Project 4 Freedom to people who really will only want to point and click to design their own pages or sites which the second they see hosting will be what they will think of.

I totally agree with going to a dedicated server as soon as we can

Keep up the good work buddy. This gets better and better every time I read something you have done or gotten ready

Yea ok where do I start, Like you Kevin it's one of those day's, by the way those Spalsh pages are awesome, they work as is, Great work on that, I see I not the only one busy.

The Hosting is pretty strait forward, but thank God for tutorials, I will try to explain this without messing it up.
This assumes you are subscribing for a paid Membership at A Project 4 Freedom
I will have to do the Founders Manually
When you sign up for a paid Membership at the main site www,aproject4freedom.com you will automatically get a generated a coupon code, this will more then likely be your Affiliate account number, then you will get redirected to the main hosting service Freedom Hosting. As the Hosting will be a separate entity, Then you will choose to purchase a Domain name, or transfer a domain name, then you will choose your hosting package, This is why the Hosting will be separate, as their will be choices, the first choice will be to use your coupon, this shows you will cover the cost of hosting from a portion of your membership fee. In reality hosting is not free it's included with your membership, or if you choose a different Hosting solution such as that you want to be a reseller. or you want a different hosting plan, members will get a discount non-members won't and non-members won't have access to a coupon. Then you will get redirected to Paypal, make your Payment, then get redirected to a thank you page, with conformation info.

You will also get about 10 emails a couple from each site that will be automatically sent, with your login info to everywhere you need to go, one will be your Hosting account you go to Cpanel login you will get a generated user name and password, login this will take you to Cpanel admin screen this will give you more info and access then you will ever need. ( I will try to get some links to working Demos it will make it more clear)

First you want to change your user name and password, this will actually happen automatically, then it will walk you through setting up your email, give you a chance to forward it to outlook or anywhere else, you also have webmail, there is a "getting started' video tutorial that explains allot just about every feature has a video tutorial, its part of RVskin, one of the features I wanted.

ok so now you want a website online. this is where it can get complicated, you have allot of choices you can use the traditional method using a FTP client, a special standard uploader to upload files from your hard drive, DreamWeaver, and other website applications usually have them built in, but those are " techy" toys. I being a non Techy choose a much easier path. Fantastico delux which is included with your Cpanel. when you go to Fantastico it has PHP scripts pre-loaded basicly for different applications, too many to list here but the one I use is Joomla.Then you just go to Fantastico to install your script.

But it's finiky there are usaully errors, so you have to mess around with it a little. thats where i'm at now chasing errors, so it will take a few to figure it out. mosttly its finding a file you have to remove , it's the finding the file that takes time.
Pretty much thats it, I Wrote a Book here, damn But I wanted to explain the whole process.

The is also a website builder, we will also provide other options, hosting is just one of the many tools we will have.

Sorry Kevin I didn't cover your whole question, I kinda went off on a tangent, But I wanted to explain it that way so future readers will have that info.

The server is up but no website, yet hopefully tomorrow, once I get the script to load, it will take no time at all for me to get a page up, actually the script will load a generic page.

As far as being easy, yea it's easy if you follow the steps, but you can also do some damage, a couple wrong clicks and you will be looking for a "Techy" to fix it. This is why it will be imperative for us. To have tutorials, and Guides to walk people through all this. The best rule of thumb when you are at Cpanel if you don't know what it is don't mess with it. It's pretty clear it gives you instructions for just about every step. It's just a matter of finding things like files that come up because of an error which is usually caused because of not deleting the root file you are replacing and that takes time.

We will go over every step, so even the newest people will understand. and another bonus is I will have access to everyones Cpanel, so if need be I can go in a load scripts or whatever. because every site comes off my root server. I don't want to have to do that, it will be a last resort sort of thing, and I won't do it without someones permission.

We can also use AIM, or MSN chat to help walk people through a problem, We will have it covered I'm sure.
